Eurobot 2024

Eurobot is Europe's largest student robotics contest, founded in 1998 by the French organisation Planète Sciences and now drawing over 600 teams from more than 40 countries. Each spring a new themed challenge is published and teams of university students build one or two autonomous robots that compete head-to-head in timed table matches. Robots must complete game-specific tasks entirely autonomously with no human guidance during the match. The challenge is fully reformulated each year, preventing teams from reusing prior-year hardware and demanding fresh engineering solutions. France, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland are historically the strongest performers. The championship finals are held in La Roche-sur-Yon, France each May.
