Fronius is an Austrian technology company founded in 1945, producing welding technology, photovoltaic systems, and battery charging systems. Fronius International's welding division is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of MIG/MAG, TIG, and robotic welding power sources and torch systems, known for developing Cold Metal Transfer (CMT) — a low-heat precision welding process enabling joining of thin sheet metal, aluminium, and dissimilar materials. Fronius robotic welding systems are widely deployed in the automotive industry, with TPS/i power sources and Robacta Drive torches integrated with KUKA, ABB, Fanuc, and Yaskawa robot arms globally.
