Ascento Guard
The Ascento Guard is a two-wheeled balancing outdoor security robot from Swiss ETH Zurich spinoff Ascento, featuring a unique legged-wheel hybrid design combining terrain adaptability with wheeled efficiency. At just 20kg it is significantly lighter than most outdoor security robots, enabling faster deployment and lower infrastructure requirements. The Guard navigates uneven outdoor terrain, curbs, and moderate slopes that defeat traditional wheeled platforms. HD 360-degree cameras and thermal imaging provide comprehensive surveillance. Deployed in industrial parks, logistics hubs, and critical infrastructure sites across Europe.
Unitree B2-W
The Unitree B2-W is a next-generation wheeled-legged quadruped combining Boston Dynamics Spot-class legged mobility with high-speed wheeled locomotion — capable of running at 6 m/s on flat terrain while also traversing stairs, obstacles, and rough outdoor surfaces. IP67-rated for all-weather industrial deployment. At roughly a third of the cost of Boston Dynamics Spot Enterprise, the B2-W has rapidly gained enterprise and government attention as a cost-effective alternative for security patrol, industrial inspection, and research. A 30kg payload capacity enables diverse sensor configurations including 360-degree cameras, LiDAR, and thermal imaging. Developed by Unitree Robotics, China's leading quadruped manufacturer with significant global market penetration.
