Honda is a Japanese multinational conglomerate manufacturer founded in 1948, best known for automobiles and motorcycles. Its robotics division developed the ASIMO humanoid robot — one of the most iconic bipedal robots ever built — over a 32-year research programme from 1986 to 2022.
