Saab Sabertooth is a dual-mode AUV/ROV capable of operating autonomously as an AUV or tethered as an ROV, designed for deep-sea pipeline inspection, infrastructure survey, and scientific sampling at depths up to 3,000 metres. Used by major offshore energy companies for subsea asset inspection, Sabertooth can dock autonomously to subsea stations for recharging and data transfer, enabling persistent underwater monitoring without surface support vessel requirement.
